B46: Brockington Rectory
Brockington Rectory
A real Victorian Romantic novel set within the County of Herefordshire in the UK.
Replete with love, hate, murder and passion.
The scene commences in 1845 and leads the reader through many twists and turns in the daily lives of the two main characters,
Sir Ralph Edward Forde- Stylles and his wife, Lady Amelia (nee, Peterson), middle Daughter of the Reverend and Mrs Peterson of Brockington Rectory.
The story commences with Ralph ardently pursuing Amelia’s Sister, Arabella, until her life is cut short by a jealous rival.
The book combines humour, passion and several twists in the tail as the years roll by for this troubled family.
The plot involves more of a ‘love-quintet’ rather than the more conventional ‘love-triangle’, which, as always, ends in sadness and despair for some and joy and happiness for others!
